Experienced Bartender/ Waiter looking for work. in BURLEIGH HEADS, Queensland

Hi!
I'm a Canadian who just moved to Miami, Queensland. I'm looking for a postion as a bartender or waiter in the hospitality industry.
Throughout the 7 years I have worked in the hospitality industry I have learned strong leadership skills and the ability to focus in a team oriented environment. With managerial responsibilities at Spanky's Downtown Pub & Patio I was able to motivate my team to attain maximum profit while ensuring the safety of both customers and employees. Duties included opening and closing the bar, ordering products weekly, ensuring a neat and clean work area to maintain hygiene, deep knowledge of drink recipes and an outstanding knowledge of food and drink preparation. My first shift at Spanky's Downtown Pub & Patio I was able to double the profits on considerably low profit margin day. Our team provided outstanding customer service and created excellent long lasting relationships. At East Side Mario's I was able to create new techniques to increase the average bill of sale price with suggestions and up selling methods while adhering compliance to all quality regulations and standards. In an effort to increase bar sales at East side Mario's, management held a wine selling contest in which I placed 1st. While working at the Eglinton Grand Theatre in downtown Toronto I was able to fine tune my skills learning proper etiquette that catered to weddings and large corporate events. Completing a course at the Toronto Institute of Bartending in 2007 gave me an excellent introduction into the hospitality industry. It allowed me to develop accuracy, speed and time saving techniques while understanding the importance of enforcing responsible alcohol guidelines, regulations and laws . My interest in beer, wine and spirits has taken me on several tours to breweries in Vancouver and Toronto. Recently I have traveled to the Raffles Hotel in Singapore, to learn the original recipe of the Singapore Sling.
